Shooting in South Bend leaves one injured

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police are investigating a shooting that happened just before 11 p.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of N. Mead.

When police arrived they located a victim who had gunshot wounds to the lower body.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
