Shooting in South Bend on Illinois Street

JoLynn Bruney SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A shooting happened on Illinois Street in South Bend, leaving one injured.
St.Joseph County dispatch confirms the call came in at approximately 8:30 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Officers investigating a reported shooting in the 400 block of S. Illinois. Male with a wound to the leg. #southbend

Officers are on scene at 420 S. Illinois Street.

Police say a male subject has been shot in the ankle area.
He has been transported to Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening wounds.
