Shooting leaves man injured in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, IN -- Police are currently investigating a shooting that left a man injured.

Dispatch says police responded to the 1300 block of Grace Street just south of Pulaski Park and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

The call came in to police at 12:05 a.m. Sunday morning.

The 30-year-old victim was shot in the leg outside.

There was at least two unoccupied vehicles with damage from the shooting.

There is no description of the suspect or suspects at this time.

Witnesses told officers that a dark colored SUV was seen leaving the area shortly after the shooting.

The case is under investigation by the South Bend Police Investigative Bureau.
