BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The man who was shot early Tuesday morning at a house party in Benton Harbor has been identified by the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety.
The BHDPS responded to the 100 block of Apple Avenue early Tuesday morning following reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived they found 35-year-old James Parker Hersey with multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers say the shooting was the result of an argument between Hersey and an unidentified male.
The man fled the scene after the shooting, police said.
