Showers and storms taper off tonight

ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast

Saturday July 19, 2025

The threat for severe weather is decreasing, but showers and storms will be making their way through Michiana this afternoon and evening. Damaging winds and localized flooding are still the main concerns.

Since dew point values (humidity) are so high, flash flooding due to heavy downpours is a possibility. Radar is showing redevelopment of showers off to our west, which will likely bring another round of heavy rain through the evening.

Shower and storms could potentially linger into tomorrow as well, lasting through the evening, though not likely to be severe. Areas along and south of US 30 hold the higher chance of seeing stronger storms.

Next week will start off quiet with temperatures in the 80s and low humidity. Heat and humidity make a comeback by midweek with highs in the 90s with indices making a run at the triple digits.

Tonight: Lingering showers. Low 68.

Sunday: Lingering showers, mostly cloudy. High 81.

Monday: Mostly sunny, warm. High 82.

Tuesday: Sunny, warmer. High 87.
