Rain arrives after midnight tonight as temperatures fall into the middle 40s across Michiana. Saturday looks a bit soggy, with steady rain throughout most of the day. Temperatures will reach the middle to upper 50s during the afternoon. Shower chances start to decrease after 5 pm Saturday. Skies will gradually clear overnight, but low temperatures into Sunday morning should stay out of frost territory for most. Sunday will be dry with sun and clouds, but we'll be cooler with highs in the lower 50s.
The heat is on, so to speak, starting on Monday as temperatures soar into the 70s. Thermometer readings will touch 80 degrees on Tuesday. The pattern looks a little more active for the middle of next week, as showers and thunderstorms are possible starting Tuesday night. More showers and storms could be in the cards on Wednesday and even on Thursday as well. Temperatures will settle into the 60s heading into the start of next weekend.
