No injuries from Chapin Street fire

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A dozen of units were on the scene of a structure fire on South Chapin Street around 5 p.m., according to St. Joseph County dispatch.

The initial call of the fire came in at 4:36 p.m.

The report was for a single story building at the 2000 block of South Chapin Street.

SJC dispatch confirmed no one was injured or in the building at the time of the blaze.

The cause or seriousness of the fire is unknown at this time.
