SJCPD called to possible bomb threat at Amazon site
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Police responded to a possible bomb threat in New Carlisle on Friday morning that was on the construction site of the new Amazon Data Center.
Authorities say around 11 a.m., SJCPD Officers were dispatched to the 55200 block of Walnut Road for a report of bomb threat written on a bathroom stall wall.
When officers arrived, they found a message written in black marker on a construction site Port-a-John bathroom interior wall.
The message read:
Kill [a first name]
1012
Bomb 12:45
Authorities say underneath the threat was a smiley face.
The first name included in the message is not being released.
County Police searched the site and found nothing suspicious, but they are continuing to investigate the threat.
