SJCPD responds to vehicles being ransacked, gives helpful tips

GRANGER, Ind. -- On Wednesday, St. Joseph County Police Department officers responded to at least five reports of vehicles being ransacked.

One vehicle was stolen after the keys were left inside.

These incidents all occurred to unlocked cars in Granger.

Police are reminding community members to always lock your doors, never leave your keys inside the car, remove or hide all valuables, and park in well-lit areas.
