There was a small explosion at a building on the Notre Dame campus Monday morning, according to a university spokesperson.
HAZMAT responded as a precaution.
The explosion happened around 10 a.m. in one of the labs on the third floor of Stinson-Remick Hall.
A staff member was injured in the chemical explosion.
The building was evacuated as a precaution.
