St Patrick's Day continues with its wide weather spectrum into tonight. A temporary break in the clouds allows us partial sunshine in the early evening hours, but the cloud deck returns overnight off the lake, bringing lake effect snow showers and lows in the upper 20s with it. Expect snow to stay with us through the first half of Monday, possibly even into the early afternoon with most seeing a few tenths of an inch. Some areas around the IN/MI state line, especially Berrien and Cass counties, may run into 1-2" of snow. Any snowfall will have minimal impact as most surfaces stay above freezing, especially roads. Regardless, pack the winter jacket for tonight and tomorrow. Lows fall into the upper 20s yet again Monday night, but we return to the 50s and 40s Tuesday and Wednesday with sunnier weather in store.
