Snowfall in southwest Michigan causing power outages

Customers in southwest Michigan are facing power outages on Wednesday due to sustained snowfall in the area, according to Indiana Michigan Power.

Crews are working to assess damage and restore power to customers.

As of 2:15 p.m., Indiana Michigan Power is reporting 650 customers without power in southwest Michigan. Click here to view the outage map.

I&M expects most power to be restored by 10 p.m. Wednesday night.
