We're tracking snowy and cold weather through the end of the week with some areas expected to see significant impacts. This morning, snow will be falling in the snow belt with the main focus in Berrien County. More than 3 inches of snowfall is expected with higher snowfall amounts, closer to 6 inches, possible. Temperatures across the region with be hovering around the threshold for snow vs. rain, so many could see a wintry mix during the afternoon. It looks like some will be able to get a break from snowfall in the early afternoon before the heaviest lake effect snow hits this evening leading into tonight and tomorrow morning. The worst impacts will be Thursday morning with heavy snow expected, especially in the snow belt. More than 6 inches will be possible for many in this region. Snow chances last through Friday morning and temperatures will fall into the 20's through the end of the week.
