Solid Waste director indicted on theft, official misconduct charges

The director of the Marshall County Solid Waste Management District has been indicted by a grand jury on one count of theft and one count of official misconduct.

The indictment alleges Michael T. Good exerted unauthorized control over Marshall County Solid Waste Management District property in the amount of $9,017.12.

The allegations surround the sale of scrap metals in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Good is scheduled for an initial hearing January 20.
