SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Some plants inside the South Bend Potawatomi Conservatory were damaged when the building's boiler failed during the cold weather this week.
About 20-percent of the plants inside the conservatory are dead.
They are still assessing the damage, but say they will rely on donations to restore the collection.
