ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Monday, December 19, 2021
The weather looks quiet tonight, with cloudy skies and lows in the 20s. The sunshine will peek out on Tuesday, and highs should actually make it above freezing! Wednesday's forecast will also be quiet, but that is not the case from Thursday through the holiday weekend. A major winter storm will impact Michiana starting on Thursday. A rain/snow mix could include some freezing rain at times, which would make for hazardous travel conditions. Friday will be the most difficult travel day, with heavy snow and blustery winds creating possible blizzard conditions. On Saturday, we're not out of the woods, with more blowing snow and lake effect snow showers likely. Any snow should wrap up early on Christmas morning. The holiday is shaping up to be very cold, with highs in the teens and lows near zero.
Tonight: Cloudy and chilly. Low 23.
Tomorrow: A mixture of clouds and sun. High 35.
Wednesday: Cloudy. High 32.
Thursday: Wintry mix. High 36.
