South Bend, Ind.- The South Bend Airport has wrapped up phase two of the three phase project. The goal is to expand the passenger concourse. Phase 2 began last November, the project consisted of adding additonal gates and increased seating throughout the airport.
The final phase will feature consolidated passenger screening operations in a single location.
Starting today all passenger security screening will occur in a temporary checkpoint location at the old Terminal C checkpoint, north of the airport atrium.
The final phase is expected to wrap up by mid January.
