South Bend announces annual Parking Ticket Amnesty Day

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – South Bend City Clerk Kareemah Fowler officially announced the third annual Parking Ticket Amnesty Day.

The special day in Spring will allow residents of South Bend the opportunity to pay their parking tickets without late fees attached.

Those with unpaid parking tickets can pay the original cost of the tickets without the added late fees.

The Amnesty Program helps prevent the buildup of costly fines as well as legal and court fees associated with residents not paying parking tickets.

The program is in place to help residents save time, money, and possible legal action.

Clerk Fowler has used this program in the past to save money for residents and even boost revenue for the city.

Parking Ticket Amnesty Day will take place on Friday, April 26, 2019.
