South Bend businesses lament loss of customers due to gas leak chaos

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Construction crews hit a gas line Tuesday morning in South Bend, causing problems in an area that is already a mess.
The gas leak forced the evacuation of businesses at the corner of Niles and LaSalle.
As ABC 57's Ashley Izbicki shows us, it was the last thing their cash registers needed.
