South Bend Code Enforcement director resigning

Shubhada Kamli, the director of South Bend's code enforcement department, is expected to resign Friday.

Chief inspector Randy Wilkerson will take Kamli's position until the city finds a permanent replacement

Wilkerson will fill the director role until the city finds a permanent replacement.

Kamli led the code enforcement office for less than two years.

She is leaving to go back home to the New England area, to be close to family.
