South Bend Common Council and City of South Bend make donation to Food Bank

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The South Bend Common Council and the City of South Bend gave a monetary donation to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana at a presentation on Dec. 22.

The Common Council presented a $1,000 check to the Food Bank for the work they’ve done in feeding the community during this difficult year.

The council and administration also distributed hats, gloves, and scarves to the following organizations who support the area’s most vulnerable citizens:

  • Motels4Now
  • Weather Amnesty (Hope Ministries)
  • Broadway Christian Parish
  • Our Lady of the Road
  • Michiana 5
  • Oliver Apartments (in conjunction with the Rum Village Association)
