A melt, then a rapid refreeze
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Starting Wednesday, the South Bend Community School Corporation (SBCSC) will begin its summer schedule for meal distribution.
Six school sites will provide meals for children under the age of 18 throughout the city, with grab-and-go breakfasts and lunches available at the following locations and times:
•Washington High School, Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
•Marquette Montessori Academy, Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
•Monroe Elementary School, Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
•Tarkington Elementary School, Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
•Muessel Elementary School, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
•Lincoln Elementary School, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Food will continue to be provided in bulk to ensure that meal recipients will have food seven days per week.
