South Bend, Indiana. -- This year 9,700 students will rely on transportation from the district to get to school.
Which is why a number of parents took to social media to express their concerns when that information was not given outing until days before the school year.
ABC57’s Jackie Bauer talked to the school corporation on how they are hoping to work with parents to smooth things out.
All students within the updated boundaries will receive transportation, as well as those attending Magnet schools.
However, those attending schools outside of their region will have to find their own way there.
Any questions can be directed to this hotline 574-393-7000.
