South Bend Cubs bring Chicago-style food to Four Winds Field
Game day at Four Winds Field isn't complete without buying food.
The South Bend Cubs are rolling out all types of food from traditional ball park food like hamburgers and hot dogs to Chicago-style food.
The hope is to bring a little taste of Chicago here to South Bend.
"We also try to bring a little bit of Wrigley Field into town now that we've got the Cubs here in town," said Nick Barkley, the Director of Food and Beverage at Four Winds Field. "We're doing an Italian beef sandwich with a smokey sausage shack as well as a meatball sub at the sausage shack."
To bring even more of Wrigley Field to Four Winds Field, the team will bring out some old style beers that Wrigley Field has had for years.
First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. for Opening Day of the South Bend Cubs with gates opening at 5 p.m.
