South Bend Cubs' first pitch event brings in former Chicago Cubs player

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -
South Bend Cubs owner Andrew Berlin has the same philosophy when it comes to giving back; giving fans a renovated ball park and a renovated team.
Former Chicago Cubs pitcher Jamie Moyer attended the South Bend Cubs' First Pitch Banquet Monday night.
As a former Cubs player, he knows how important the franchise is, and when he was asked to come to the South Bend Cubs' first pitch event, Moyer couldn't say no.
South Bend Cubs owner Andrew Berlin has the same philosophy when it comes to giving back; giving fans a renovated ball park and a renovated team.
Both Cubs President Joe Hart and Berlin hope the hundreds of people that attended the event Monday night leads to thousands of fans packing the seats of Four Winds Field on opening day.
On opening day, the South Bend Cubs play Bowling Green on Thursday April 9th.
