South Bend Cubs hosting Teacher Appreciation Night

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Cubs will host Teacher Appreciation Night on June 8, gifting all Michiana teachers and administrators two free tickets to the game.

The June 8 South Bend Cubs game will begin at 7:05 p.m., followed by a post-game firework show.

“We love this night every year. It provides us a chance to honor and show our gratitude for all the hard work teachers and educators in the area do for our kids,” said Joe Hart, President of the South Bend Cubs.

All teachers at the game will be honored in the middle of the third inning when they will be asked to stand and be recognized by everyone in attendance.

Teachers and administrators can pick up their two complimentary tickets by showing their school ID at the Four Winds Field box office during operating hours. Those hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, Saturday game days from noon until the game’s seventh inning, and Sunday game days from 10 a.m. until the game's seventh inning.

The first 600 teachers and administrators to claim free tickets will also receive two free food vouchers for the June 8 game. Each food vouchers supplies one hot dog, a bag of chips, and a fountain soda.
