SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Cubs players arrived to Four Winds Field Monday afternoon from Spring Training in Arizona.
The team will play an exhibition game against Notre Dame on Wednesday and will play their Opening Night game on Thursday at 7 p.m. against the West Michigan Whitecaps.
We talked to some of the players after they got off the bus Monday afternoon.
“Spent a lot of time together trying to get to know each other. The last week we spent it all with the new coach so we got to know how he’s like. Really ready to get after it. This is an amazing place, amazing park, amazing fans so I’m just ready to give my all for them" infielder Delvin Zinn said.
