SOUTH BEND, Ind. --The South Bend Cubs are getting ready for Saturday's home opener against the West Michigan Whitecaps. The game is set for 7:05 p.m.
Gates for the game open at 5 p.m. Southern Straight Away will be performing before the game. Additionally, the first 1,000 fans will receive a South Bend Cubs pint glass and magnet schedule.
The South Bend Cubs are also helping the Notre Dame Women's basketball team celebrate their national championship. Head coach Muffet McGraw will throw out the first pitch.
After the game, there will be post-game fireworks.
Tickets for tonight's game cost between $11-13. Tickets can be bought at SouthBendCubs.com or by calling the box office at 574-235-9988.
