South Bend gas station robbed for fourth time this year

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A south bend gas station was robbed at gun point Saturday night.

It is at least the fourth time this year.

With the suspect still on the run, police were not able to get much of a description.

What they could tell us was around 10 p.m., a man showed a teller a gun and demanded cash.

Neighbors are speaking out about their concern for the safety of the employees.

"As far as being there for convenience, it's good. I hate to see it get robbed all the time.  I mean, I hate to see any place get robbed like that, I mean there's no excuse for it," said concerned neighbor John Kirk.

Neighbors say they would like to see better security put in place for people working at the store.
