Drone operators, recreational or commercial, are encouraged to attend a free discussion hosted by the South Bend International Airport to talk about drone safety and responsibility.
SBN says The forum is open to the public and will be held Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the upper level terminal atrium, east of Delta’s ticket counter.
“It’s important to understand the impact drones have on air safety, especially when flying near an airport. Individuals of all ages, operate these small aircraft. This event will enlighten users on the Federal Aviation Administration’s legalities, and how to safely and responsibly fly a drone,” says Mike Daigle, SBN executive director.
According to the airport, parking will be validated for all attendees.
