South Bend man accused of killing his girlfriend appears in court

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Manuel Clemon was in court on Tuesday morning.
His trial date is now set for October 8th.
The 44-year-old is charged in the stabbing death of Deshone Caradine.
Her body was found in her North Eddy Street Apartment in late January.
