South Bend man faces life in prison

SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- A man will likely spend the rest of his life in prison.
Doug Guilmette, 29, was found guilty last week of murder and theft.
Guilmette beat Greg Piechocki to death in September 2010, and then stole alcohol, a cell phone and movies from area stores.
Guilmette is a habitual offender, which means 30 years will be added to each charge.
He will be sentenced April 13.
