South Bend man indicted on sex trafficking charges

A federal grand jury has indicted Douglas Jackson, 26, of South Bend on seven counts related to allegations of sex trafficking of a minor.

Jackson was indicted on three counts of transporting a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, three counts of sex trafficking of a minor and one count of use of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.

The case was investigated by the South Bend Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Wyoming Michigan Police Department.
