South Bend man sentenced to over 10 years in prison for distribution of methamphetamine

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A South Bend man was sentenced to over 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to four counts of distributing methamphetamine, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced.

Cedric Washington, 40, was sentenced to 10 years and 1 month in prison followed by four years of supervised release.

In June and July of 2021, Washington sold methamphetamine four different times, according to case documents.

During the last sale, Washington sold over 50 grams of methamphetamine, documents said.

Washington’s criminal history included three prior felony convictions, including a federal firearms offense, according to reports.
