SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A 37-year-old South Bend man will spend a decade in prison after pleading guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute 50 Grams or more of Methamphetamine.

The United States Attorney’s Office Northern District of Indiana announced Mark Murphy Jr. was sentenced on Tuesday to 10 years in prison followed by five years of supervised release.

Court documents reveal police executed a search warrant at Murphy’s residence as part of an investigation, leading to the recovery of about 439 grams of pure methamphetamine packaged in a suitcase.
