Hundreds of drivers were stranded on the Indiana Toll Road on Friday, as they waited for emergency crews to clear an accident that happened Friday morning.
Some drivers were stuck for nearly eight hours.
Rolen Reddy is a mechanic with R & B Car Company in South Bend, and he suggests all drivers carry an emergency kit during these cold winter months, where anything can happen.
He says fill your kit with extra socks, jumper cables, towing rope, snacks, and other essentials.
