South Bend Medical Foundation urgently needs blood donations

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—The South Bend Medical Foundation said Thursday that it has an urgent need for blood donations.

The donor center is looking specifically for O-, A- and B- blood types.

Donor centers and hours are:

• Mishawaka (118 West Edison) – Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• South Bend (530 N. Lafayette Blvd.) – Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Elkhart (600 East Boulevard at Elkhart General Hospital): Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
