SOUTH BEND, Ind. – South Bend Venues Parks & Arts is celebrating National Kids to Parks Day with a day of outdoor play on Saturday at Potawatomi Park.

The free event, which runs from noon to 4 p.m., encourages kids and families to connect with nature and get active outside.

Kids can enjoy games, a rock wall, music, food, and more during the event.

“National Kids to Parks Day is a way for kids to connect with experiences that can be found in all of our parks,” said Director of Recreational Experiences, Jonathan Jones. “We encourage everyone to get outside and enjoy a free afternoon of fun celebrations with us.”
