South Bend police arrest suspect in string of neighborhood burglaries

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend police arrested a burglar who they said was terrorizing a neighborhood.

Police said Reed Pitchford hit a number of garages in River Park stealing lawnmowers, snowblowers, other household items, and at least one bike.

The mind-blowing part is that most of it happened during the light of day!

Officers arrested Pitchford for eight counts of felony burglary.

ABC57's Emily Pritchard has the story.
