South Bend Police Department accepting applications

The South Bend Police Department tweeted Thursday that they are taking applications through the month of May.
Applications will be accepted until May 26th.
The police department says the applicant must be a U.S. citizen between the ages of 21 and 35.
Some factors that increase employment consideration include a college degree, military experience or previous police experience, community service and volunteer organizations.
