South Bend Police Department provides update on weather-related crashes

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Despite snowfall slowing in the evening hours, South Bend police responded to an increased number of crashes on Friday, according to the department.

 As of 10:45 p.m. Friday, officials responded to 26 crashes in just under 11 hours, not including other calls to assists agencies outside of South Bend.

The department asks that drivers continue to remain safe on the roads going into Saturday morning.
