SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police are investigating a homicide that occurred on Saturday on the south side of the city. South Bend Police responded to reports of a shooting at the 500 block of Wagner Street.

Officers located a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound and was ultimately pronounced deceased. Her name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
