South Bend Police investigating robbery at 7-Eleven

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department is investigating an early-morning robbery at the 7-Eleven convenience store at 501 E. LaSalle.


Police say they received a call around 4:30 Tuesday morning regarding the robbery. Investigators arrived on scene shortly after, closing the store down during their search.


A 7-Eleven employee said the suspect was unarmed and only took a carton of cigarettes.


No arrests have been made.
