South Bend Police investigating shooting on Diamond Avenue

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The South Bend Police Department is on scene investigating a shooting in the 1200 block of Diamond Avenue, according to St. Joseph County Dispatch.
A call came in at 4:48 p.m. reporting the shooting.
One person was shot and has been taken to the hospital.
Police are currently on scene.
