SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Lincolnway West Monday afternoon.
The shooting happened just after 2:15 p.m. in the 1000 block of Lincolnway West.
A 21-year-old man, Lonell Hudson was shot in the arm, and suffered injuries to his face.
Neighbors in the South Bend community are speaking out saying they're concerned about the recent shootings in the city.
David Minder of South Bend said he was near the shooting and he wants the violence to stop.
"I know I heard several gunshots," Minder said.
Another South Bend resident said she fears for her safety because of the frequent shootings.
"It scares me personally being a U.S. citizen living in the hood," Lorrie Bulger said.
Police say they are looking for a dark blue or black sedan, possibly a Ford Fusion, with one or two people inside as part of the investigation.
