South Bend Police investigating shooting on Mayflower Road

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—Detectives with the South Bend Police Department are investigating a reported shooting on S. Mayflower Road on Wednesday morning.

According to police, the shooting occurred around 2:43 a.m. on Wednesday morning in the 1000 block of S. Mayflower Road.

A 20-year-old male sustained a non-life threatening wound to the thigh.

Another morning report of ANOTHER shooting in PeteY LAND! Petey is out and about em! telling unsuspecting citizens how he would protect em! Look at the mayhem in da bend people. Lead poisoning from paint is a serious problem for youths. Lead poisoning from high speed projectiles is much more serious.
