South Bend Police investigating shooting on West Linden

SOUTH BEND, Ind.--South Bend Police are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday morning.

Police responded to the 1900 block of West Linden for reports of shots fired.

Officers did not find any victims at the time but did collect evidence.

According to police, 20 minutes later, officers learned were notified of a walk-in shooting victim at hospital.

The 31-year-old male victim sustained a non-life threatening injury to the lower body. 

He has since been treated and released from the hospital.
