South Bend Police arrest suspect in shooting that left juvenile injured

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - UPDATE: South Bend Police say a suspect has been arrested in regard to the shooting that wounded a juvenile on South Bend’s southeast side Thursday afternoon.

The suspect's identity has not been released at this time.

ORIGINAL STORY: South Bend Police say a call came in around 2:15 p.m. on Thursday about a shooting in the 3300 block of High Street.

Police say they found one juvenile victim suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities say there's no ongoing threat to the community.

South Bend Police's Violent Crimes Unit is investigating.
