South Bend police investigating Tuesday night shooting

SOUTH BEND — Police are investigating after a gunshot victim walked into the hospital for treatment Tuesday night.
According to the police department's Twitter page, a person was shot in the leg before walking into the hospital around 8:30 p.m. Police believe the shooting may have taken place in the 1300 block of King Street, not far from Portage Avenue on the city's northwest side.
