SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Downtown South Bend hosted their June First Fridays event themed “Kids Night Out” and supplied hours of family fun on Friday.
Along with live music, food, shopping, art and activities, the event hosted a youth talent show.
“It’s good to shine a light on what's good and positive. You see people come down here and they see their neighbors. They're grabbing some food and enjoying the entertainment, so it instills a sense of community,” said Kylie Carter, Director of Marketing and Events for Downtown South Bend.
All of Downtown South Bend’s First Fridays’ events are free and open to the public.
